Addiction Treatment that
Just Works

Individualized treatment programs delivered in a comfortable, relaxed setting promote healing in your recovery journey.

Why Choose Resurgence

At Resurgence, we see you as a whole person, not just your addiction. This approach includes dual diagnosis treatment for any underlying mental health issues you may have, physical fitness and nutritional counseling, and various types of therapy, groups, and recreational activities. Along with drug and alcohol rehab, we also offer educational groups, life skills programs, family counseling, and vocational training, so that we can help you better your life after rehab and help you reach your post-rehab life goals while building yourself into a stronger and more well-rounded version of yourself.

Our staff will ensure you remain safe when you stay in our sober, community-based facility. You will rest and rehabilitate during the highly structured days at Resurgence during inpatient rehab. Our staff is very skilled, and around half of them are in recovery themselves. There is a 24-hour nursing staff onsite, with a nurse practitioner on-site daily, and the head nurse is a certified addiction RN. The rehab center is comfortable. You will sleep in a full-sized bed and eat healthy and fresh foods. Dietary needs can easily be accommodated.

We use trauma-informed care, meaning we will ensure you feel listened to, respected, and safe. We will not move forward with any treatment unless we have your informed consent, and we will always keep an open line of communication with you, so you are never left in the dark when it comes to your own treatment.

We support all levels of care, with seamless transitions between detox, inpatient and outpatient rehab, and aftercare, all within the same facility, keeping you in contact with the same doctors and care providers. Your long-term recovery is the goal, and we will work alongside you to create a customized program that will treat your addiction, as well as the underlying and co-occurring disorders that come along with it. This whole-patient approach is advantageous, as it will increase the probability that you will experience a long-lasting transformation that can lead to long-term success in your recovery.

Alcohol Detox Program

It is never a good idea to try and quit drinking on your own if you have an alcohol addiction. Alcohol detox can cause your body to create serious withdrawal symptoms and should be overseen by medical professionals. Depending on variables like if you were bingeing alcohol or drinking for a long time, and your physical health, you may experience serious withdrawal symptoms that can become deadly without professional help.

A Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) plan for alcohol detox at Resurgence is the recommended course of action. You will move into our detox center, and as the alcohol leaves your system, you may be prescribed prescription medications to keep you safe and stop uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms, so you can rest and heal in peace.

This is a whole-patient approach to treatment, so alongside the 24-hour monitoring and clinical care, we will bring in therapy and counseling to help you begin the process of making behavioral and psychological changes that are necessary to remain in long-term recovery. Dual diagnosis treatments may begin at this time as well to help you with any underlying mental health issues. Once you are deemed medically stable enough, we will transition you into our inpatient rehab program so you can continue working on your sobriety.

Drug Detox Program

At Resurgence, we have a safe and effective medical drug detox program that will ensure you are as comfortable as possible as your body adjusts to not having the drugs in your system any longer. Medical detox is the necessary first step to every rehab program.

Everybody’s detox symptoms will vary depending on which drug you are detoxing from, your level of addiction, and your physical health, along with other factors like mental health and genetics. The severity can range from uncomfortable to life-threatening unless medical intervention occurs. During our MAT detox program, you will be supported, with prescription medications administered as needed to help with pain, restlessness, and the intense drug cravings that may come with detox. Dual diagnosis treatment is also provided at this time if you have a co-occurring mental health issue or trauma that requires treatment.

We have long-term aftercare programs as well, to ensure you always have the full support of a sober community when you need it.

Drug Rehab for Residents of Cibolo (How Does it Work and What is it Like?)

Drug rehab at Resurgence is important to your recovery, as it is where you learn coping skills, gain sobriety tools, make behavioral changes and get to the underlying root of your addiction, while dealing with trauma and co-occurring mental health issues.

In inpatient drug rehab, you will have one-on-one and group therapy, attend educational programs, process groups, and life-skills training programs, and join in on community gatherings and other activities including off-site outings to local attractions. Your days will be fully structured with a customized treatment plan that will most benefit you, meeting your needs and your preferences, and the evenings are a good time to rest, rejuvenate yourself and reflect upon what you have learned.

In outpatient drug rehab, you will receive the same high-quality support and treatment options, but you will live at home and have the option for a more flexible schedule so you can still go to work, attend classes and take care of your family. With our outpatient programs, our sober living affiliate homes, and our alumni program, there will always be support available to you, wherever you are in your recovery.

Our aftercare outpatient programs will keep you in touch with medical professionals, therapy, and our sober community, and you can meet with our sober alumni group at any time. With Resurgence, you will never be alone in your recovery.

How Much Does Rehab Cost?

At Resurgence, we want to make rehab available to anybody who needs it. There is no set price, as each patient has a completely customized plan. We can work with you to build a plan that will best help you and fit your budget. We can also create a payment plan, and we take most forms of PHP insurance. Contact us to find out more about our customized rehab plans.

How Long is Detox?

The length of detox varies, depending on factors like:

  • Which drug(s) you are detoxing from
  • Your level of addiction
  • The length/frequency/amount of use
  • Your medical history, and current mental and physical health

Very generally speaking, you will begin to feel withdrawal symptoms within a few hours or days of your last use. They will escalate to uncomfortable levels over the next few days, usually peaking at around 72 hours, and then you will begin to feel a bit better every day. Through medical detox, you will be kept safe, and as comfortable as possible as your body recalibrates itself.

We will be able to tell you more about what to expect and a more accurate timeline for your specific situation after you meet with our professionals and complete your physical and mental health screenings.

How Long is Rehab?

At Resurgence, we have many paths you can take. We have 30-, 60-, and 90-day inpatient rehab programs, and we have a spectrum of outpatient services as well. Although a minimum of 30 days of inpatient care is usually preferred, we can work with you to figure out what is best for your unique situation.

30 Day (Short Term Rehab)

30 days is the industry standard and the minimum amount of time we recommend for inpatient rehab at Resurgence. It takes around that amount of time to be able to make lasting behavioral changes, create a new mindset for yourself and gain perspective on things. A full month away from distractions and triggers can make all the difference in your treatment as you reprogram your brain through behavioral therapy, learn new coping skills, deal with trauma, and work on finding the underlying causes for your addiction.

Long Term Rehab (60-90 Days)

Our long-term rehab programs are designed for those who have co-occurring mental health conditions, are prone to relapsing, or are otherwise resistant to treatment. Through therapy, groups, counseling, and peer support, you will find the root of your addiction, get your body healthy, and build a sober community of peers as you live in our sober, safe rehab center. The longer you remain in inpatient rehab, the lower your chance of relapsing will be.

Couples Rehab

If you and your partner want to get help for drug or alcohol addiction together, you may choose to come to Resurgence for couple’s rehab. Alongside substance abuse therapies and counseling, we also offer couple’s therapy, in which you can work on bridging the emotional distance that addiction has created. You will strengthen your relationship, gain tools to focus on sobriety together, and learn to support one another while avoiding codependency, enablement, and relapse. We will provide you and your partner with a positive framework for life after treatment that can save your relationship as you thrive individually and as a team.

Pet Friendly Rehab

At Resurgence we allow pets to join you in inpatient rehab. This is beneficial, not only because you don’t want to have to find pet care before coming to rehab, but also because pets offer emotional support and unconditional love, improve physical and mental states of being, and relieve stress, and lower blood pressure. A pet can increase feelings of self-worth and purpose, so they are welcome at our pet friendly rehab facility.

Does My Insurance Have Coverage For Rehab?

Yes, your insurance has coverage for rehab. Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA 2010), and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equality Act (MHPAEA), mental health and addiction treatment are essential health benefits. You will need to speak with your provider to find out exactly which medications and treatments are covered under your specific plan.
