Best Detox & Rehab Center for Addiction for Residents of Pulaski
Drug and alcohol addiction is not anything to feel ashamed of. It can happen to anybody and can take many forms, including a prescription pain pill addiction, having a few too many drinks multiple times a week, or buying heroin on the street. It can begin for many reasons, but the common issue all people with substance use disorders face is that you want to stop using a substance but can not.
At Resurgence, we can help you detox in a medically safe environment, find the underlying causes of your addiction and work through pain and trauma in therapy, address mental illnesses with a dual diagnosis program, gain a vibrant new sober community and learn the recovery skills you will need to become the sober and healthy person you want to be.
Addiction Treatment that
Just Works
Individualized treatment programs delivered in a comfortable, relaxed setting promote healing in your recovery journey.
Why Choose Resurgence
At Resurgence, we believe in using trauma-informed care, because each of our clients comes from a full, interesting life, and may have suffered through negative experiences with medical treatments, being in a position of vulnerability, or otherwise not being in control of what is happening. For this reason we:
- Always obtain informed consent before moving forward with treatment
- Use open communication and collaboration techniques to make sure you feel safe and heard
- Answer all of your questions and never rush you into anything
- Never force you to do anything you do not want to do
We customize your treatment to your unique needs, as well as your budget and your preferences. We will help you formulate long-term recovery goals for the future, and help you get there. Our goals are to ensure you do not suffer through your detox program and to treat you as a whole patient, rather than an addiction to be treated. You are an important human being who deserves respect and dignity, and we will ensure you are treated as such while you are in our care.
Our staff is highly trained and professional. They all genuinely want to help you and are empathetic to your situation. Many of our staff members are in recovery themselves and may understand what detoxing or moving into a rehab facility is like. Our team of counselors, psychiatric caregivers, and clinical workers are overseen by a head RN nurse with a specialty in addiction. We will help you address psychological issues, get a good grasp on your physical and mental health, and prepare you to lead a self-directed, independent life after rehab.
Alcohol Detox Program
Alcohol is a substance that can produce severe withdrawal symptoms, especially if you have been abusing alcohol for a long time or if you have been binge drinking or mixing it with other drugs. When you stop drinking alcohol, some of the milder symptoms may include:
- Anxiety and mood swings
- Tremors
- Uncontrollable sweating
- Confusion or brain fog
- Irritability
- Nightmares
- Difficulty sleeping
- Headache
- Increased heart rate
Delirium tremens are also a worry. This is a condition that can develop within the first few days of withdrawal and can include physical, auditory, or tactical hallucinations, seizures, agitation, confusion, and high fever, and can sometimes lead to death if not treated.
At Resurgence, our Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) detox program is an integrated treatment that takes place within our safe and comfortable detox center. You will reside with us for the entirety of your detox, receiving medical oversight, suitable medications, therapy, counseling, and healthy food to ensure you remain healthy as the alcohol exits your system. During your stay, understanding what is transfer addiction becomes vital for comprehensive recovery. Transfer addiction occurs when an individual substitutes one addiction for another, and recognizing this allows our team to implement strategies to prevent developing new unhealthy habits while recovering from alcohol dependency. When you entrust yourself to our care for alcohol detox, we prioritize your safety and comfort, ensuring that your journey through detox is as comfortable and effective as possible, steering clear from potential pitfalls like transfer addictions.
Drug Detox Program
As obvious as it may sound, you first need to stop taking drugs in order to quit using drugs. This is not as easy as it sounds, and depending on which drug you are quitting, your withdrawal symptoms can range from mildly unpleasant to painful or even dangerous to your health. Our medical detox program will help you curb drug cravings, help you rest, keep you safe and get you through uncomfortable symptoms which may include:
- Depression or anxiety
- Flu-like symptoms
- Insomnia
- Aches and pains
- Stomach issues
- Rapid heartbeat
- Sweating
- Dizziness
- Confusion
- Hallucinations
A MAT program is especially recommended for people detoxing from drugs that produce severe withdrawal symptoms like benzodiazepines, meth, opiates, and alcohol. Our clinical team can keep you safe as you detox, providing FDA-approved prescription doses of medications that can help you taper off your drug usage safely.
At the same time, we can provide dual diagnosis treatments to those with co-occurring mental health issues, along with counseling and therapy to help you begin the healing process, digging deep to find the root of your addiction and addressing any unwanted emotions or thoughts that may come up during this difficult but necessary part of your rehabilitation program. Once the drugs are out of your system and you are deemed stable enough, we will move you into inpatient rehab to begin the next phase of your treatment.

Drug Rehab for Residents of Pulaski (How Does it Work and What is it Like?)
At Resurgence, we have a drug rehab program that treats you as a whole person, not just your addiction, or a problem that needs to be solved. Through our thorough medical and psychological screening process, as well as an in-depth interview, we will get to know your unique needs, preferences, and goals, evaluate your level of addiction, and work alongside you to figure out which treatments will best help you stop using drugs as we treat underlying conditions and get to the root of your addiction.
You will move into our inpatient drug rehab facility for a 30- 60-, or 90-day program, so you will be able to focus on your treatment plan away from distractions like the stresses, triggers, and other difficulties that come with living at home. The days in our facility are structured, with multiple hours per day of therapy, counseling, and learning the recovery skills you will need to stay off drugs and avoid relapse long-term.
We will also provide a dual diagnosis treatment program that can help you deal with any co-occurring trauma or mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, or bipolar disorder that needs simultaneous treatment, as these issues usually stem from the same root causes as addiction.
During the evenings, we will provide options for recreation like games, sports, and movies, or you can spend time in your room to reflect on what you have learned. We have a calm and peaceful environment, surrounded by nature so that each of our patients can get the rest and relaxation you need to be able to take in your treatments. Once you have completed your time in inpatient care, you can move forward into outpatient treatment and an aftercare program that will work best with your life, helping you meet your long-term sobriety goals.
How Much Does Rehab Cost?
The cost of rehab varies for each client, as we customize our programs to best suit each patient’s needs and budget requirements. We will work with you to figure it all out beforehand, so there are no surprises when you enter treatment. We can create a payment plan if necessary, and we work with most PHP insurance providers. Contact us today to learn more about specific costs related to our programs. We are here to help you.
How Long is Detox?
Every patient’s detox timeline is different. It depends on a variety of factors such as:
- Your physical and mental health as you enter detox
- What drug(s) you are detoxing from
- Whether you were using more than one drug (or alcohol) at a time
- How much you were using at one time
- How often you were using the substance
- How long you have been using the drug or drinking
- Your history of drug use and relapsing
- Your level of motivation
- Other factors like genetics and metabolism
Withdrawal symptoms will usually begin within the first 1-3 days from your last use of the substance, starting out mild and gradually increasing until they hit their peak around the 72-hour mark. This peak is when things can be dangerous for your health and when medical intervention may become necessary to keep you safe. After this peak, you will begin to feel better, becoming more stabilized as time goes on until you are ready to enter your rehab program.
How Long is Rehab?
At Resurgence, our rehab programs are flexible, so they can be molded to suit each patient’s specific needs and goals. This means each person’s timeline will vary from the next. We offer 30-, 60-, and 90-day programs, with a 30-day minimum recommended stay in inpatient care.
Residential rehab at Resurgence will keep you safe in a sober and community-oriented environment as you work on your sobriety. One of the most important services inpatient rehab provides is removing patients from the people, places, and issues that cause stress and pressure in their lives, or that may trigger drug and alcohol use. In inpatient rehab, you will have the time you need to see your life from a new perspective while attending therapy, educational courses, and groups, and taking care of your body with exercise and nutrition.
We encourage all our patients to remain in inpatient care for as long as they need, as a longer stay will lower the chance of relapse. When you are ready, you can move on to outpatient and aftercare programs. We will make sure you are never alone in your recovery.
30 Day (Short Term Rehab)
One month, or 30 days, in short-term rehab will remove you from your everyday life, including all the temptations, stresses, and triggers that may provoke a relapse. You will move into our secure, comfortable facility, live with people who are like you, and work on your health and your sobriety every single day, attending groups, therapy, education, and more in a structured, scheduled environment. One month of residential rehab is enough time to find yourself again, see your life from an outside perspective, and create new, healthy habits and behaviors, working toward a better future.
Long Term Rehab (60-90 Days)
Long-term rehab is a program that can last 60 or 90 days, depending on your individual needs. This longer-term rehab is recommended for people who:
- Have a dual diagnosis or are working through health issues at the same time as addiction treatment
- Have a history of relapsing or are resistant to treatment
- Feel they need more time in rehab than the minimum 30 days
Our inpatient programs offer full-time medical and psychiatric care, providing a safe environment for all our patients as you gain the recovery skills you need, address the underlying causes of your addiction, and regain your physical health and overall wellness. You will be surrounded by peers, giving you the opportunity to forge new, sober friendships. A longer stay in rehab will reduce the chance of relapsing.
Couples Rehab
Couples who drink or use drugs together regularly may have the experience of feeling an emotional distance growing between them. Substance abuse can cause a relationship to suffer, especially when one or both partners have an addiction.
You and your significant other may want to consider couple’s rehab if:
- You are fighting about money, drug use, or partying
- One or both of you are neglecting daily responsibilities to drink or use drugs
- You begin to miss work and other important daily chores because of drinking, drugs or hangovers
- Boundaries are becoming blurred when it comes to domestic violence, lying, sneaky behavior, stealing or emotional manipulation of one another or those close to you
- You and your partner begin to enable one another’s drinking or drug use by covering for each other, interfering with law enforcement, or work on their behalf
- Are prioritizing the addiction over other people’s needs or important events
- Feel like you cannot be close to your partner, talk about your relationship or be physically intimate without using substances
If these symptoms sound familiar, it may be time for you and your partner to enter couple’s rehab. At Resurgence, we have a couple’s rehab program in which you and your partner can benefit from individual therapy, detox, and other programs, as well as couple’s and family therapy, group therapy, and all the amenities we offer. You will work on:
- Effective communication skills
- Learning to keep each other on track and hold each other accountable
- Being responsible for your own actions
- Being each other’s support system, even if relapse occurs
- Working on self-control and problem solving
- Learning about triggers, codependency, and enablement
- Finding new, sober ways to enjoy each other’s company
A couple’s rehab can prevent further damage to your relationship, give you a higher level of relationship satisfaction, and reduce the chances of separation or divorce. We can help you gain a happier and healthier relationship as you detox and rehabilitate from drugs and alcohol.
Pet Friendly Rehab
Resurgence is a pet-friendly rehab facility because we know that bringing a beloved furry companion with you can increase your feelings of self-worth, physical activity, and your sense of purpose. Being near an animal for an extended period of time will lower your heart rate and blood pressure, and your pet can provide you with unconditional love and support when you need it most. Allowing you to bring your pet to rehab will remove the barrier that finding pet care can create, and we are dedicated to doing all we can to help our clients get the help you need. If you are curious about coming to rehab with your pet, contact our team and we can tell you all about how it works.
Does My Insurance Have Coverage for Rehab?
Every insurance provider is different, so it is advised to speak with an insurance representative to find out which treatments and medications are covered before you begin treatment, but under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010, and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA), addiction and mental health care are considered essential health services and must be covered.
