How Much Does Rehab Cost?

Rehab costs will vary greatly depending on what the person needs from treatment. Factors such as length of treatment, level of care, and medications can affect costs. While rehab costs may seem high, the cost of not getting treatment is higher on your overall health, finances, and relationships. However, clinicians can consider your budget when creating an individualized treatment plan, and Resurgence offers financing options so you can get the help you need now. We also take most PPO insurance plans which can pay for some or all your rehab costs. Intake specialists are available 24/7 to give you a general idea of your treatment plan and the cost and verify your insurance.

How Long Is Detox?

Drug and alcohol detox length depends on the severity of addiction, height of substance abuse, the person’s overall health, age, weight, and sex. Generally, most people will complete the detox process within a week. Still, they may experience mild, lingering withdrawal symptoms which last several weeks or months, referred to as Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS). Withdrawal may develop within hours after the last dose or drink and peak around day two or three. Patients will begin to feel better, and withdrawal symptoms should completely subside within 5 to 10 days.

How Long Is Rehab?

A minimum of 30 days in rehab is usually needed to overcome any substance use disorder. However, individuals with more severe addictions, long-standing substance abuse, and those who have relapsed or struggle with co-occurring conditions may need extended programs. Resurgence Behavioral Health offers short-term and long-term rehab programs in 30-, 60-, and 90-day lengths. One advantage of choosing a full-service rehab center like ours is that if, after completing 30 days, you do not feel ready, you can easily transition into a more extended rehab program.

30 Day (Short Term)

Individuals with milder addictions may be able to reach all the recovery milestones within our 30-day rehab program at Resurgence. This immersive and intensive program will provide clients with a solid foundation for long-term recovery. Short-term rehab near Holmby Hills will include various addiction treatment methods to address the root cause of addiction and provide clients with the necessary tools and skills to get back to their daily lives quickly. Outpatient treatment and aftercare programs are highly encouraged upon being discharged.

Long Term Rehab (60-90 Days)

After completing 30 days in rehab you do not feel ready, you can easily transition into our long-term rehab near Holmby Hills at Resurgence. Individuals with severe addictions, repeated relapses, or co-occurring disorders may need a long-term program for successful recovery. 60- and 90-day rehab programs allow enough time for our clinicians to treat the underlying causes of addiction while giving you more time to learn and adapt healthier coping skills. Aftercare programs are also highly encouraged after discharge so you can have enough support and guidance as you adjust to the real world.

Does My Insurance Have Coverage For Rehab?

Most health insurance plans will cover mental health disorders, including substance use disorders. How much rehab is covered depends on your project; there may still be deductibles to meet. Resurgence accepts most PPO insurance plans, and our intake specialists can verify your insurance to determine how much is covered.

Additional Therapies & Addiction Treatments Available:

Part of the reason for our success rates at Resurgence is our variety of available addiction therapies, allowing clinicians to create highly personalized treatment plans. We offer several services and treatments to heal the root cause of addiction while also healing all areas of your life affected by substance abuse, such as your health, finances, employment, and relationships. Specialized programs such as couples rehab and pet-friendly rehab are also available to fit clients’ specific needs.

Couples Rehab

When both partners in a relationship struggle with substance abuse, their best chance at recovery is getting sober simultaneously. Resurgence Behavioral Health offers couples rehab near Holmby Hills, where teams can go to treatment together. Programs will be individualized for each person to address their unique underlying causes of substance abuse while also incorporating couples therapy and peer support groups where they can heal their relationship and grow together.

Pet-Friendly Rehab

Resurgence offers pet-friendly rehab near Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, so inpatient rehab residents can bring their animal companions. Often pet parents put off getting treatment because they do not want to leave their pets behind or have difficulty finding long-term care for them. We have also found that having your pet in rehab can have several benefits and improve patient retention by reducing stress and anxiety, providing unconditional love, and reducing loneliness.

MAT

Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) involves using medications for substance abuse treatment. MAT is an integral part of our medical detox program, as drugs are used to ease withdrawal symptoms often felt when attempting to stop substance abuse. Resurgence also uses MAT in long-term care as it can treat co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder, along with counseling and other therapies. Medications can also be helpful in relapse prevention as they can reduce cravings, block the effects of addictive substances, or be used as a deterrent.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is among the most popular evidence-based addiction therapies. Therapists will use CBT in a one-on-one setting where patients can discuss various areas of their lives about addiction. CBT aims to identify and treat negative behavioral and thought patterns often leading to substance abuse. Therapists will provide multiple strategies to change these patterns to treat the root cause of addiction and co-occurring disorders.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Therapists at Resurgence will use various cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to find what works best for each client, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). This form of therapy aims to teach self-acceptance, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills to reduce self-destructive behaviors such as substance abuse. CBT can help individuals live healthier and happier life by improving how a person reacts emotionally to stressors.

Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)

Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) is done one-on-one with a trained therapist to help patients identify negative beliefs and thought patterns. REBT is founded on the idea that our thoughts and opinions play a significant role in behavior, such as engaging in substance abuse. Clients will develop a more rational outlook on life to reduce negative thoughts, which may have led to seeking out drugs and alcohol in the past. Therapists will also teach healthy coping skills to deal with emotions and stressors.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Often mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder exist alongside addiction. Dual diagnosis treatment near Holmby Hills at Resurgence will simultaneously treat co-occurring disorders to provide clients with the best chance at long-term recovery. Many of the same therapies used to treat substance abuse, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, can also treat mental health disorders. While dual diagnosis can be complex, it can be successfully treated to provide long-term relief from co-occurring disorders.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based individual therapy to treat trauma, PTSD, and its effects. At Resurgence Behavioral Health, we recognize the prevalence of trauma in addiction, and EMDR is one of the therapies we use to help those with traumatic experiences. During the EMDR session, a trained therapist will lead clients in a series of side-to-side eye movements as they recall painful memories. EMDR can change how the brain stores these memories, so they no longer have the same physical or psychological effects. Reducing triggered responses to trauma can help individuals reduce the need to use drugs or alcohol to deal with difficult emotions.

Relapse Prevention

Our programs at Resurgence aim to help clients live a life free of drugs and alcohol long after they have left our center. Relapse prevention planning will create a thorough aftercare plan to be implemented after discharge to reduce the risk of relapse. This portion of the program will teach clients to identify high-risk situations, develop skills to handle them and learn emotional regulation. Clients will also add self-care techniques, peer support groups, individual therapy resources, and a list of people in their support network. Part of relapse prevention is teaching clients the signs and symptoms of an oncoming relapse so individuals can take action as soon as possible before they relapse. They will include the steps they will take when they notice an oncoming degeneration and what to do if they do.

Life Skills Training

Life skills training is one program that can help a person achieve lifelong recovery by teaching new ways to cope with difficult emotions, stress, interpersonal relationships, and making healthy decisions. Life skills training can help people in recovery gain the confidence to abstain from drug and alcohol use to lead healthier lives. Part of life skills training also includes learning skills that, to most people, are universal, such as cooking and keeping a clean living space.

Vocational Training

Drug and alcohol abuse often affects a person’s employment or career. Some individuals may be unable to return to their previous job because it can potentially derail their sobriety, such as those who work in restaurants and bars and who should no longer be around alcohol. Our vocational training program will help clients learn the necessary skills and have access to resources to gain employment or find a new career path. Stable work is essential for long-term recovery as it provides financial freedom, improves self-esteem, and creates positive routines.

Group Therapy

Most substance abuse programs use group therapy and can make up much of your treatment plan at Resurgence. Group therapy allows people to share experiences and feelings with others dealing with similar issues. This setting allows our clients to realize they are not alone and can reduce feelings of isolation. Clients have the opportunity to make lasting friendships and create support networks that can last a lifetime.

Experiential Therapy

Experiential therapy uses interactive activities to help patients find better ways to explore and express their thoughts and feelings. Experiential therapy can often help patients access areas where they cannot do traditional talk therapy. Examples of experiential therapy can include creating art, making music, writing, animal encounters, and adventure therapy. At Resurgence, one of our most popular treatment methods is art therapy.

One-On-One Therapy

Individual or one-on-one therapy is a cornerstone of any comprehensive treatment program. Clients will sit one-on-one with one of our therapists in a confidential and safe space to discuss various areas of their lives about substance abuse. Patients know they can speak to their therapists freely and will not receive judgment. Therapists will use multiple therapies to address substance abuse and mental health disorders and provide feedback and strategies to handle these disorders.

Family Therapy

Addiction has far-reaching effects, including affecting family members and other loved ones. Family therapy sessions aim to help mend broken relationships caused by substance abuse. Therapists will guide sessions with loved ones in a safe, confidential space. Family members can learn more about addiction, the circumstances that led you there, and how to better support you in recovery. It also teaches better communication skills, how to set boundaries and break codependent behaviors.

Trauma Informed Therapy

One feature of our programs that sets Resurgence Behavioral Health apart from other rehab centers is our specialized trauma-informed therapy. We recognize the prevalence of trauma in addiction and how untreated trauma can impact your recovery. Treatment plans will consider how trauma has played a part in your substance use disorder and use therapies such as EMDR and CBT to help you move on from painful experiences.

Trauma-informed therapists go beyond treating the trauma by ensuring that every patient feels safe during treatment and will not be retraumatized, which can happen during any healthcare service. We will always be completely transparent with you about your treatment plan and take feedback on how you feel your program is going into consideration when adjusting treatment plans. Therapists will also avoid any PTSD triggers and never force you to do anything you do not want to do.

Physical Fitness

Addiction takes a toll on the body, mind, and spirit, requiring holistic treatment methods to heal all areas affected by substance abuse. Routine physical activity doesn’t just help the body to recover, but also the mind and spirit. Physical fitness programs at Resurgence are incorporated into all treatment plans as they can elevate hormones and neurotransmitters affected by drugs and alcohol, strengthen the body, and reduce feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress. We offer various exercise options so clients can explore what works best for them and develop an exercise routine they can take with them upon graduating. Individuals in recovery who regularly exercise are less likely to relapse and feel better about themselves.

Off Site Activities

Treatment programs at Resurgence Behavioral Health don’t always occur within our facility’s walls. We include off-site activities to help clients destress and create stronger bonds with one another as a learning experience. Off-site training can include going to the beach, hiking, movies, visiting local museums, and adventure activities. Excursions like these reduce the isolation many feel during extended periods in residential inpatient care. It also allows clients to begin experiencing the world sober, learn how to have fun without drugs and alcohol and apply what they learn to real-life situations.

When you choose Resurgence, you get much more than the opportunity to stop using drugs and alcohol. Holistic rehab programs like ours aim to provide true healing of the body, mind, and spirit for the best chance at long-term recovery. Our treatment plans will treat the underlying causes of addiction and the effects of substance abuse on your life, such as employment, relationships, and finances.
