Our team of doctors and nurses will monitor your vitals and administer medications to reduce the risk of medical complications and make the process much more comfortable. Even without the risk of dangerous withdrawal symptoms, medical detox can greatly increase your chances of stopping drinking. Often, withdrawal symptoms and cravings cause people to relapse quickly.
Our alcohol detox program takes place in a non-hospital setting in private or semi-private rooms with attached bathrooms. Our clinicians will create a personalized treatment after a thorough intake and physical exam. They will monitor body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing regularly throughout the process. Patients can also have access to therapists and counselors who can help them through this difficult phase of recovery while beginning to treat the behavioral and psychological aspects of addiction.

However, this is only the first step and successful long-term recovery needs a well-rounded drug rehab program to heal addiction’s psychological, spiritual, and behavioral aspects.
Alcohol Rehab in Windsor Square
Every person’s experience in alcohol rehab will be unique, as the best treatment programs create individualized plans. Alcohol rehab at Resurgence Behavioral Health uses various addiction therapies to help address the root cause of addiction while healing all areas of a person’s life affected by alcohol abuse. Patients in alcohol rehab will also learn long-term ways to manage their addiction and avoid relapse when outside the treatment facility.
Our alcohol rehab programs begin with a thorough evaluation followed by a detox period to ensure patients begin their program with a clear body and mind. Patients can expect to end alcohol abuse, establish a support system, improve their general health, improve personal circumstances, and treat any mental health disorders with dual diagnosis treatment.
We offer all levels, including inpatient and outpatient treatment programs. Depending on your clinical needs will determine the intensity of your treatment program, however, most people do benefit from some time in inpatient treatment. Residential inpatient treatment allows you to separate yourself from the outside world and truly focus on your recovery program. Outpatient programs vary in intensity and allow you to live at home or in a sober living facility while continuing with treatment.
Drug Rehab in Windsor Square
Drug rehab is a comprehensive treatment program that combines behavioral therapy, counseling, and education to help individuals overcome substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our programs at Resurgence Behavioral Health begin with a thorough examination of your physical and mental health to create a customized treatment plan. We offer all levels of care including drug detox to help ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce the risk of early relapse.
Residential inpatient programs allow patients to live at our clinic full-time, separate themselves from outside influences, and truly focus on their recovery. This rigorous treatment program is often the best next step after drug detox and can last between 30 to 90 days before transitioning into an outpatient or sober living home.
Outpatient programs at Resurgence vary in intensity, including partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP). Patients will live at home or in a sober living facility, receiving treatment at our center several times weekly.
All drug rehab programs generally include the same type of therapies including one-on-one counseling, group therapy, family therapy, life skills training, vocational training, physical fitness, dual diagnosis treatment, and relapse prevention. Resurgence creates treatment programs that will address the underlying cause of your addiction and all areas of your life affected by drug abuse including overall health, strained relationships, and employment.
How Much Does Rehab Cost?
Rehab costs at Resurgence Behavioral Health will vary since every program is personalized. Factors such as treatment intensity, length of program, level of care, and medications can affect the cost of rehab, however, our clinicians can create a treatment plan around your budget. We also accept most PPO insurance plans that cover some or all your rehab costs. Our intake specialists can give you a general idea of what your treatment plan and cost may look like and verify your insurance to determine how much is covered and if there are any other out-of-pocket costs. We also offer financing options so you can get the help you need now.
How Long Is Detox?
Drug and alcohol detox programs will vary in length, depending on the substance(s) used. Other factors which can affect how long it takes your body to rid itself of all addictive substances include the length of substance abuse, the severity of drug or alcohol use, overall health, weight, age, and sex. Generally, most people will complete detox within a week. However, some will experience mild, lingering withdrawal symptoms for several weeks or months, referred to as Post-Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (PAWS).
Withdrawal symptoms can begin within a few hours after your last drink or dose and peak at around day two or three, after which symptoms will subside. By going through medical detox at Resurgence, our clinicians can administer medications to ease these symptoms and make the entire process much more comfortable. Once you have completed detox, you can transition into one of our comprehensive rehab programs to address addiction’s psychological and behavioral aspects.
How Long Is Rehab?
Drug and alcohol rehab programs at Resurgence are personalized to each patient and will vary in length. We offer short-term and long-term rehab programs ranging from 30 to 90 days which can be completed in either inpatient or outpatient treatment. Often the best course of treatment is a step-down system that uses both types of treatment. Generally, more mild substance use disorders can be treated with an intensive 30-day program, followed by aftercare programs. Severe or long-standing addictions may need long-term rehab. Our clinicians will always work alongside you to create a plan that works best for you, including extending or shortening your program length based on your progress through treatment.
30 Day (Short Term)
Short-term rehab near Windsor Park at Resurgence Behavioral Health is an intensive treatment program that will address addiction’s physical, behavioral, and psychological aspects and get you back to your daily life as soon as possible. Our 30-day program can provide a solid foundation for a life of sobriety by treating the underlying causes of addiction and teaching the necessary tools and skills for relapse prevention. Patients can complete their 30-day program in both inpatient and outpatient care. However, we highly encourage continued treatment through aftercare programs and sober living housing for an extended period.
Long Term Rehab (60-90 Days)
For those struggling with more severe addiction, long-standing substance abuse issues, relapsed after treatment, or co-occurring disorders, long-term rehab at Resurgence may be their best chance at recovery. We offer 60- and 90-day programs that allow more time for our clinicians to work with you to break negative behaviors, heal underlying causes, and work on healthy life skills. Individuals who complete a 30-day program but do not feel ready to return to the real world can also transition into our long-term rehab. Just as with short-term rehab, 60- and 90-day rehab programs can be completed using several levels of care.
Does My Insurance Have Coverage For Rehab?
Most insurance plans cover mental health treatment, including drug and alcohol rehab programs. How much is covered depends on your health insurance plan. Our intake specialists can verify your insurance plan and let you know how much is covered, plus any out-of-pocket costs, such as deductibles, you may need to pay. Resurgence Behavioral Health accepts most PPO insurance plans.

Couples Rehab
When both partners struggle with substance abuse, the chances of successful recovery are more significant when both individuals go to drug and alcohol rehab. When only one person gets treatment, they can easily relapse after completing their program. Resurgence Behavioral Health offers Couples Rehab near Windsor Park, a specialized treatment program for those in relationships to go to rehab together. Each person will receive a personalized treatment plan where they will work on their sobriety independently while also incorporating treatments and therapies for both partners to attend together.
Couples rehab will allow both partners to find sobriety together using the same practical, evidence-based addiction treatment methods and heal the effects of substance abuse on a relationship. Couples can work on breaking codependent behaviors, learn better communication skills, and address issues within their relationship while providing mutual support and motivation.
Pet-Friendly Rehab
Pet-friendly rehab near Windsor Park at Resurgence Behavioral Health allows you to bring your animal companion. Often, pet parents put off getting the help they need because they do not want to leave their pets behind. Pet-friendly rehab eliminates the need to find long-term care for your pet and can also have added benefits. Pets provide unconditional love, motivation, and stress relief and reduce loneliness in rehab, increasing patient retention in treatment. Residents are responsible for all their pets’ care, including feeding, walking, and cleaning after them.
MAT
Comprehensive treatment programs at Resurgence may include medically assisted treatment (MAT). Medications are a significant component of our drug and alcohol detox programs to reduce withdrawal symptoms and ensure patient safety. After your initial consultation, our clinicians can determine whether you would benefit from MAT and specific medications in your treatment plan. MAT can also treat long-lasting withdrawal symptoms, co-occurring disorders, and relapse prevention. The best treatment programs will use MAT, behavioral therapies, and counseling.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is one of the most widely used evidence-based addiction treatment methods. CBT involves sitting one-on-one with a trained therapist and discussing various areas of your life related to addiction. Therapists can help you recognize and break negative behavioral and thought patterns related to substance abuse to treat underlying issues. Patients can learn how to deal with stressful situations and negative thought patterns in a healthier manner reducing the need to cover up emotions with drugs or alcohol.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
Our therapists at Resurgence use a variety of behavioral counseling to find what works best for each patient. Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) is one form of therapy that aims to help patients develop mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal skills, and self-acceptance. At its core, DBT is about balancing opposites and encourages patients to avoid problematic black-and-white thinking. Skills learned in DBT can significantly reduce the risk of relapse and help prevent patients from feeling they failed in the event of deterioration.
Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)
Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) works by challenging irrational thought processes which lead to self-destructive behaviors, such as substance abuse. It aims to help patients learn that their beliefs, thoughts, and feelings about an event lead to adverse reactions, which they can control. This approach can help a person develop better coping skills, thus improving their overall quality of life. REBT is one of our unique therapy techniques used at Resurgence Behavioral Health.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
Co-occurring disorders, such as anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health disorders, often occur alongside addiction. Individuals may use drugs and alcohol to cope with the symptoms of mental health issues, leading to a substance use disorder. Others may develop mental health disorders as a result of substance abuse. In either case, co-occurring conditions must be treated simultaneously through dual diagnosis for successful recovery.
Dual diagnosis treatment near Windsor Park at Resurgence Behavioral Health will use various forms of behavioral therapy, support groups, and medication-assisted treatment to treat co-occurring disorders alongside addiction during your program. Patients will complete treatment with the tools to manage their addiction and the ones to address their mental health issues so they no longer need drugs and alcohol to cope with the symptoms.
EMDR
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, which uses eye movement techniques to help rewire how the brain stores and processes traumatic events. EMDR treats both addiction and co-occurring disorders at Resurgence through one-on-one therapy. Therapists will lead patients in bilateral (side-to-side) eye movements while recalling painful memories during treatment. This therapy aims to help patients break the emotional and physical triggering effects of traumatic memories, which can reduce the need to self-medicate with drugs and alcohol.
Relapse Prevention
Treatment goals at Resurgence include healing the effects of substance abuse while helping patients learn how to manage their recovery for a lifetime. Relapse prevention will teach patients how to handle stressful, challenging situations more healthily so they no longer feel the need to use addictive substances to deal with them. Part of relapse prevention is also identifying triggers and high-risk situations. Individuals will develop a plan on how to handle these events, recognize an oncoming relapse, and how they will get help to avoid one.
Life Skills Training
Substance abuse and addiction will often affect self-care and healthy habits. This is especially true for individuals who have struggled with drug and alcohol use from an early age and never developed life skills that are universal to most, such as cooking and cleaning. A lack of life skills can get in the way of your sobriety. Resurgence incorporates life skills training into programs to help patients develop the tools and resources to build a healthy and positive life. Done in a group format, patients may learn self-care techniques, maintain healthy relationships, keep a balanced budget, and develop a routine.
Vocational Training
Substance abuse can impact a person’s ability to maintain employment, and those who remain unemployed after rehab have a higher chance of relapse. Our vocational training aims to help patients develop the skills and resources necessary for stable employment as part of our holistic treatment program. Some skills learned during vocational training include resume building, interviewing, holding work-life balance, coping with work-related stressors, and finding an appropriate job or career path.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is an excellent complement to individual therapy. While sharing your past trauma or personal issues among strangers can be intimidating, it offers several benefits toward successful recovery. Patient schedules will include several weekly group therapy sessions that may focus on a specific subject. Peer support groups can help patients develop interpersonal skills while building lasting friendships and support systems. Group therapy can also reduce feeling isolated during rehab because you can connect with others with similar experiences. Your peers can also offer a new perspective and can encourage staying sober.
Experiential Therapy
As part of our personalized treatment approach, our therapists aim to find ways for patients to heal which resonate best with them. Experiential therapy is an interactive approach to talk therapy, and patients will use an activity or expressive tool, such as art therapy, to explore and express their thoughts and feelings. Some people may have an easier time accessing these feelings than they would through traditional therapy.
One-On-One Therapy
Individual therapy, or one-on-one therapy, allows for a safe, confidential space where you can discuss any issues or struggles with a professional therapist. This type of therapy can help you address substance abuse and other areas of trouble in your life such as legal issues, employment, or relationships. Our therapists can identify specific treatment needs and required referrals to additional services through individual therapy. They can also provide you with solutions and skills to manage these issues on your own.
Family Therapy
Addiction and substance abuse can affect your relationships with loved ones or stem from unhealthy family dynamics. You and your loved ones can work on your recovery together through family therapy. Family therapy aims to bring clarity to all relationships, repair broken relationships, and help your loved ones understand your addiction. Loved ones can discuss various issues in a safe space while having a therapist guide the conversation. Family members and other loved ones can break codependency, set healthy boundaries, and learn better communication skills.
Trauma Informed Therapy
Resurgence Behavioral Health specializes in trauma-informed care. Our clinicians and staff recognize the prevalence of trauma in substance use disorder and aim to promote a safe and healing environment for survivors of trauma. We help individuals address their substance abuse as it relates to traumatic experiences while also ensuring they do not experience triggering events or re-traumatization, which can happen during healthcare. Our clinicians will keep you informed about your treatment plan, respect your boundaries, and never force you to do anything you do not feel comfortable with.
Physical Fitness
Exercise can be beneficial not only during the recovery process but also in relapse prevention. Resurgence incorporates physical fitness into treatment programs to help reduce withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and mental health issues. Patients will learn to develop an exercise routine in their relapse prevention plan. Exercise is a great way to fill up free time, build a social network, and improve self-esteem.
Off Site Activities
Healing from drug and alcohol addiction at Resurgence Behavioral Health does not always occur within our treatment facility’s walls. To help patients apply real-life skills, we include a number of off-site activities in our programs. Some activities we may plan include trips to the beach, recreational activities at local parks, and outings to local museums. Having time outside the treatment center helps patients apply what they have learned in their program and reduces feelings of isolation.
