In our sober living home, you or your loved one will be strongly encouraged and supported by fellow residents who are in recovery themselves.

Our Sober Living Program

At Resurgence we offer a sober living program that allows both independence and structure to co-exist so that people can ease back into normal daily life. Clients who check-in our sober living home have the freedom to come and go as they please to attend to their responsibilities at school, work or with their families. An important part of staying in our sober living home is creating positive friendships with fellow recovering individuals who help motivate each other to continue attending 12-step meetings and other programs. This healthy support system allows our residents to avoid temptations that often come up when returning to the outside world.

Who Benefits From Sober Living?

We recommend clients to move into our sober living program after a stay at our inpatient facility especially if they are having concerns about staying sober on their own. Staying in our sober living home helps guide people throughout recovery. It is most helpful for those who have the following challenges upon release from rehab:

A high risk of relapse due to some factors existing at home or the person’s communityFamily members are not ready or able to provide positive recovery supportUnstable living environmentNo solid social network or structure to help support recoveryPrevious history of relapse after treatment
