Scott is a Licensed Clinician Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in the substance abuse and mental health field bringing a unique blend of clinical experience as well as experience working in the medical insurance industry. Scott brings a clinical understanding of medical necessity criteria at the various levels of care and how to best work with Insurance companies to get needed authorizations for clients. Scott’s focus is on understanding empirically validated treatment approaches recognized by Insurance and how to implement these proven treatment modalities with an interdisciplinary team focus to ensure clients at Resurgence are given the foundation for lifelong recovery.
