Drug addiction takes many forms whether illicit street drugs or prescription medications. How Much Does Rehab Cost?

At Resurgence, we believe that everyone has the right to appropriate addiction treatment care and to heal from the painful emotions and traumas of the past without having to worry about the financial constraints of the cost of attending a drug and alcohol addiction treatment program. The cost of your rehab program will depend on your level of care needed if you require medication to support your detox and rehab program, and the different methods of therapies utilized.

If you have an active health insurance plan, your rehab cost could be partially or fully covered depending on the parameters of your specific plan. Resurgence employs insurance specialists that are here to support patients in navigating their insurance provider’s coverage and contacting your insurance company provider to advocate for the most coverage available within your specific plan to assist you in beginning rehab without having to worry about any financial concerns.

How Long Is Detox?

Your alcohol or drug addiction is specifically unique to you and your detox process will reflect the same. Your length of time in alcohol or drug detox will depend on a variety of factors including:

  • Your substance of choice whether it be illicit street drugs, prescription drugs, or alcohol
  • The length of time that you have been engaging in substance abuse
  • Your own current physical health state and existing health concerns
  • The quantity and frequency in which you would use substances
  • Family history of addiction
  • The method in which you use substances such as ingesting, injecting, or smoking

Patients will often find that within the first 24 hours of being within detox, they will begin to feel the onset of withdrawal symptoms. From there, individuals will experience a range of withdrawal symptoms from mild to severe that last anywhere from  7-10 days depending on the person. Once you have been able to physically recover from the dependency and withdrawal symptoms that you have felt, you will be ready to transition into your customized rehab program.

How Long Is Rehab?

At Resurgence Behavioral Health, we recognize that each patient has their own unique set of needs and individual stories with drug or alcohol addiction. Our compassionate team will take the time to get to know you and your history with addiction to provide you with a rehab program that is specifically designed to meet your needs and goals for treatment. That is why we offer different lengths of time to complete rehab to allow you the time and space you need to get the most out of your healing journey.

30 Day (Short Term Rehab)

At a minimum, we ask that patients stay within their rehab program for 30 days. This allows you the time you need to get comfortable and situated within your new environment and build trust and rapport with our team of addiction counselors and fellow patients to assist in facilitating your addiction treatment and self-improvement and discovery. During this time, you will have time to address your underlying causes of addiction while identifying the behaviors and emotions that have impacted your addictive behavior and ability to overcome triggers and stressors while developing new tools for relapse prevention through the various forms of addiction treatment offered.

Long Term Rehab (60-90 Days)

Long-term rehab is offered within Resurgence’s residential addiction treatment program where you can choose to stay for 60 or 90 days. This allows patients to have an extended period of time away from their home environment that can have triggers, outside distractions, or negative social relationships that are enabling and unsupportive of their addiction recovery goals.

A longer-term rehab program is recommended for patients that have been living within active addiction for a longer period of time and are in need of 24/7 monitoring initially as you begin your rehab journey. Additionally, patients that are living with a co-occurring disorder and are going to be attending a dual diagnosis treatment program will benefit from an extended period of time within our residential addiction treatment program to fully engage in the behavioral therapy, holistic treatments, trauma therapy, and educational group processes that will help you overcome any potential barriers to success by equipping you with the tools for emotional regulation and relapse prevention.

Addiction Treatment that
Just Works

Individualized treatment programs delivered in a comfortable, relaxed setting promote healing in your recovery journey.

There are specific substances that are highly addictive and can create significant physical and physiological dependencies with their users such as alcohol or opioid addiction.  In order to support patients in their early stages of addiction recovery including the detox and withdrawal stage, Resurgence offers a medication-assisted treatment program (MAT) that provides patients with medications that assist in alleviating the severity of withdrawal symptoms and avoid any intense drug or alcohol cravings so that you can remain focused your substance abuse treatment. With the compounding support of behavioral therapy and holistic treatments, patients are provided with a whole-person approach to healing that will create a healthy life foundation in addiction recovery

Medications offered within a MAT program are  FDA approved and designed to support patients in safely removing the physical dependency of addiction. Medications such as buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone are designed to help patients move through early recovery without feeling intense withdrawal side effects or cravings while avoiding developing a dependency on the medications provided. All medications are safe to use and are given at low doses to ensure that you do not feel high or develop an addiction to these medications.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) supports patients to address the root causes of their addiction by examining the behaviors and emotions that have contributed to their addictive behaviors. With the support of a counselor, you will learn how to adjust your thoughts, emotional responses, and behaviors to support life in sobriety while overcoming potential triggers for relapse through healthy, emotional regulation tools.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) focuses on supporting patients to understand why they turn to substance abuse as a method of coping. Through individual and group DBT therapy sessions, patients are able to understand and identify their self-destructive thought patterns and behaviors that influence how they respond to negative emotions and situations. With the support of our expert DBT counselors, you will learn how to shift your reactions to positive responses that support your sobriety through developing tools for emotional regulation, effective communication methods, self de-escalation tools, and mindfulness practices to help keep you at the moment and focused on remaining sober.

Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)

Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy supports patients to gain an understanding of how your beliefs and perceptions of the world around you and interactions you have can impact your ability to respond to negative situations. REBT invites patients to look deep within at their core beliefs and values about themselves and recognize how their negative self-thought or ideas can influence their ability to abstain from alcohol or drugs. Through REBT, patients are able to shift their perspective and responses to be logical and rational about their responses to situations around them.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

It is common for individuals living with a substance use disorder to have a co-occurring mental health disorder that has impacted their ability to remain sober. Oftentimes, when someone is experiencing negative side effects from their mental health disorder, they will look for ways to manage the severity of their symptoms through self-medicating with the use of alcohol and drugs. A dual diagnosis treatment program focuses on supporting patients to find effective methods of managing their co-occurring disorder through natural, holistic methods with the support of a licensed, trained counselor. As you learn to cope with your mental health disorder sober, you will be able to dive deep into the root causes of your addiction to overcome any potential triggers and set you up for success in a life of sobriety.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a form of trauma therapy that is used to treat trauma or mental health conditions such as anxiety, panic, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). EMDR invites patients, with the guided support of a trauma counselor, to revisit the traumatic event while focusing on images and different sounds including tones or tapping at the same time that will work to shift your brain’s ability to process the traumatic event to remove the harmful and painful memory of the traumatic situation. This allows patients to remove the severity of the memory that can cause significant emotional distress and allows patients to process the memory in a healthy, regulated state.

Relapse Prevention

Resurgence is dedicated to supporting patients to be successful and healthy within their newfound life in sobriety. After completing your rehab program, you will return home and have the potential to encounter triggers or stressors that could spark thoughts of relapsing. Our team will work with you to develop skills to recognize these triggers and utilize methods of mindfulness, emotional regulation, and positive support systems through accessing recovery groups or reaching out to a counselor to ensure that you move past your temptation sober and healthy.

Life Skills Training

Living within an active addiction, your life becomes centered around your addiction, and your ability to manage the ups and downs of life can become strained. The team at Resurgence works with patients to establish healthy life skills that will assist them in overcoming challenges that present themselves. For many, basic life skills such as hygiene, organizational skills, support with managing finances, and interpersonal skills become impacted by your substance abuse. Through one on one and group sessions, you will develop the tools you need to uphold a healthy, stable life in addiction recovery.

Vocational Training

For many individuals living with active alcohol or drug addiction, it is common to experience employment challenges as your life focus shifts to fuelling your addiction. Others may have been engaging in their drug and alcohol addiction from an early age and have not had the opportunity to develop employment skills. The dedicated team at Resurgence will work with you to gain skills for employment so that when you complete your rehab program you will be able to return home and find meaningful employment. Not only will a steady job provide you with financial stability, but it will also open opportunities for you to expand your social networks with other individuals that are a positive influence and support for you.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a therapeutic process where you and your fellow patients will have an opportunity to discuss your experiences with addiction, emotional distress, or traumas in a safe and controlled environment that is facilitated by a therapist. Group therapy allows patients to remove the feelings of shame and guilt associated with their addiction by being able to relate to others who have shared similar experiences with addiction. The support of your peers will provide fresh perspectives and develop a positive support system.

Experiential Therapy

Experiential therapy is a unique form of addiction therapy that provides patients with opportunities for new experiences that will allow them to engage their body, mind, and soul through various activities using hands-on learning experiences. Patients will engage in physical activities such as getting out into nature to explore, engaging in crafts or art that will spark their creative side, or trying new activities. This method of theory will have you address your past trauma and emotional states while placing your energy and focus on the task at hand helping you to open up and be vulnerable through expressing yourself in different forms and releasing any negative feelings or emotions.

One on One Therapy

One on One therapy will invite you to sit down with a therapist for a private session. During this time, you will have the opportunity to discuss various emotional pains of the past, traumatic memories, and challenging thought processes and behaviors. You and your therapist will process these feelings and help to recreate positive, healthy coping strategies that will help you manage future challenges while remaining true to your goals of remaining sober.

Family Therapy

During your active drug and alcohol addiction, many will distance themselves from their families and feel isolated from those they love. Resurgence wants to support patients in reconnecting with their families to establish new bonds that are based on trust and honesty. Family therapy will allow each person to resolve any conflicts, develop healthy communication skills, build trust with each other again, and deepen the family relationships through repairing damaged relationships with open communication and emotional expression.

Trauma Informed Therapy (After PTSD)

Resurgence understands that addiction is a complex disorder that often has underlying emotions and traumas that have influenced addictive behaviors. Through the trauma-informed therapy that is offered, we work closely with patients to identify and process the trauma of the past within a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. Our team is careful not to cause any retraumatization during trauma therapy. Instead, we will help you safely address your trauma through holistic and alternative therapy methods that will move away from reliving the trauma but help you address the correlation between your addiction and trauma while developing positive, balanced coping mechanisms that remove the harsh responses to the traumatic responses.

Physical Fitness

Resurgence believes that an effective method of addiction treatment and addiction recovery plan needs to incorporate your physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. That is why each of our treatment programs will include physical activity of some sort such as exercise, light movement, or stretching will provide healing benefits. Patients who incorporate physical fitness have seen improvements within their mental health, clarity of thoughts and emotions, an increase in healthy endorphins, and improved physical functioning.

Off Site Activities

When you choose to heal from addiction within our residential addiction treatment program, you will have ample opportunities to enjoy the sights of Seattle that will pique your interest and help you engage in fun, engaging sober activities. Patients have the opportunity to go to local beaches, engage in activities such as horseback riding or ziplining, and hike through the stunning scenic sights of Seattle.
