Fort Worth Alcohol Rehab

Fort Worth Alcohol Rehab (1)

Alcohol addiction is common and can affect people from any race, age group, religion, social status, or gender. It can start out as just enjoying a few drinks now and then, and before you know it, you are finding yourself obsessing over the next drink, feeling sick when you don’t drink, or needing to hide alcohol around the house to drink so you can feel normal.

Some other signs you may be an alcoholic include:

  • The inability to stop drinking, and the inability to control how much you drink at one time once you start
  •  Drinking alone or in the morning, or feeling guilty about how much you are drinking
  • Withdrawal symptoms occurring when you don’t drink
  • Craving alcohol when you don’t drink it
  • Finding yourself making drinking the priority over important people or life events
  • Not being interested in your hobbies or loved ones as much as you are interested in drinking
  • Continuing to drink even when it becomes an issue with your family, workplace, or friends

If any of these symptoms sound like issues you are dealing with, you may want to contact a professional Fort Worth alcohol rehab center to stop drinking. At Resurgence, we can help you detox and rehabilitate and are ready to help you or answer your questions at any time. We are just a phone call away.

Benefits of Traveling for Alcohol Addiction Treatment

Some people choose to travel to a detox and rehab clinic out of town. Benefits of traveling for alcohol addiction treatment include:

  • Being away from enablers and your usual triggers
  • Being in a new place can give you a fresh perspective on life
  • Traveling can give you a sense of hope and the feeling of a new beginning
  • A much lower likelihood of running into somebody you know, maintaining your privacy
  • At Resurgence we have off-site outings to local nature spots and attractions so you will have the chance to see some new sights while staying with us in rehab

Alcohol Detox Before Rehab

Detoxing from alcohol is an important first step in rehabilitation. You will be more clear-headed and able to concentrate on healing, and your body will begin to become healthy again once it is alcohol-free. At Resurgence, we can help you detox safely with our Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) program.

When you enter our MAT program, you will stay in our detox center for somewhere around a week, although everybody’s timeline is different, depending on factors like how much and how often you were drinking, and your physical and mental health as you enter detox.

Your withdrawal symptoms will begin to show up just a few hours after your last drink and we will monitor you 24 hours a day to ensure serious symptoms do not occur. Alcohol detox can become dangerous if not overseen by medical professionals, and delirium tremens (DTs) are dangerous and can sometimes become deadly, which is why medical detox is so important. We will provide FDA-approved medications to keep you safe and to stop alcohol cravings and your uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms so you can rest and get through this difficult process without needing to suffer.

Types of Alcohol Rehab

There are many ways to go through rehab, and at Resurgence, we offer both inpatient and outpatient options. Each is important in promoting long-lasting sobriety. The recommended approach that will produce the best results is to begin with a detox program, move directly into inpatient care, and then transition out into outpatient care, which can last for as long as you need as you move back into your everyday life.

Inpatient Alcohol Rehab Fort Worth

When you enter inpatient rehab, you will find yourself in a community-oriented facility for 30 to 90 days, with structured daily living among peers with similar goals and experiences as you. Our staff will guide you as you go through a variety of therapy, educational and counseling programs, as well as life skills and vocational training. There is nutritional support, exercise facilities and diet planning, and plenty of time for R&R, where you can rest your body and reflect upon what you have learned.

You will be comfortable in the serene surroundings, and our highly trained and empathetic clinical care workers will be around 24 hours a day to ensure you remain healthy and safe as you work to get to the root of your addiction and learn the life skills you will need to avoid relapsing and live a self-directed, independent life after rehab is over. The longer you remain within the walls of our treatment facility, the lower your risk of relapsing, as you will be removed from the stress and triggers of your everyday life, and you will gain perspective on issues that may have seemed insurmountable before.

Outpatient Alcohol Rehab Fort Worth

Outpatient Alcohol Rehab is the next step after inpatient care is over. It can also be useful for people who cannot leave their job or other responsibilities to check into residential care for a long period of time. At Resurgence, we can help you figure out what program is best for your unique situation. We offer a Partial Hospitalization Program and a more flexible Intensive Outpatient Program, which is sometimes available as a virtual program through an online telehealth platform, depending on which facility you join.

PHP Rehab Fort Worth

Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Resurgence Behavioral Health is recommended to people who want to transition back to everyday life but may need some extra time and care. It is an intermediary step between residential and outpatient rehab. This program is best for people who have completed a medical detox and a residential program and are ready to try facing real-life challenges while still retaining full, sober support with access to all our amenities. You will live outside our facility and commute in for full days of treatment, treating rehab as a day job for 5 to 7 days a week.

IOP Rehab Fort Worth

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is flexible, so you can keep a normal daily routine while working on sobriety with group and individual therapy. You will live outside our facility and attend appointments and groups around your schedule. This is the best option for those who need to get back to their day-to-day responsibilities as soon as possible.

Which Type of Alcohol Rehab is Best for Me?

Every person has a different life, a different history, and different goals, and therefore each rehab program can be customized to best suit you as an individual. At Resurgence, we offer flexible, integrated treatment models that can change alongside you as your needs evolve.

It is recommended that each patient first complete a full medical detox program before moving on into rehab, and then the next recommended step is a minimum stay of 30 days in an inpatient rehab program. This is to ensure you have the time and space to really heal, away from the people, places, and things that may trigger a relapse. You will build yourself up with our guidance, and we will give you skills you can use to avoid relapsing in the future. Depending on your level of addiction, if you have a co-occurring condition, are resistant to treatment, or have a history of relapsing we may guide you to stay longer than 30 days in residential care.

Once inpatient rehab is over, most patients will transition into our Partial Hospitalization Program if they are at all worried or nervous about getting back out there. From the PHP you can transition into our Intensive Outpatient Program, or you can skip the PHP and head directly to the IOP.

The IOP will work best for patients who have family members ready to provide positive recovery support, a solid sober social network, and a low risk of relapse after treatment. After residential rehab, many people are ready to return to work or school or to get back to childcare and other responsibilities, and the IOP can support these choices while keeping you connected to a sober network.

Does Insurance Cover Alcohol Rehab?

Every insurance plan is different, and you should check to find out which medications and treatments are covered under your plan, but in general alcohol rehab and mental health services are covered by insurance under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010, and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA).  We also offer payment plans if everything isn’t covered or if you do not have insurance.
