Best Detox & Rehab Center For Addiction for Residents of Tullahoma
When you are living with active alcohol or drug addiction, it is easy to feel like you are alone and that there is no one that understands the complexity of your addiction. At the height of your addiction, many will distance themselves from those they care most about due to feelings of shame or guilt around your addictive behavior. At a time when you need those people the most, you inadvertently keep them away to try and protect them from witnessing the depths of your addiction. When you decide it is time to take the courageous step to get the help you need for your addiction through the alcohol and drug detox and rehab program offered within Resurgence you will be met with unwavering support from fellow patients and our compassionate team. Many of the counselors within Resurgence have their own first-hand experience of living with an active addiction which means that you will have the support and guidance from individuals who walked in your shoes down the same path.
Addiction is an individual disease, presenting different underlying causes for each person it touches. Consequently, unlike other diseases, addiction treatment demands formulation and customization to meet the individual needs and circumstances of each patient. Resurgence endeavors to understand each patient individually, delving into your personal history with drug or alcohol use and considering pre-existing medical and behavioral concerns to furnish you with the highest level of care and therapeutic support, facilitating effective healing from the root causes of your addiction.
Tullahoma residents have found a strong foundation of support within the addiction treatment center at Resurgence. A crucial element in effectively healing from the pains of addiction and forging a new path in sobriety is procuring quality support and forming connections with others. It’s pertinent to explore and comprehend what is transfer addiction in this journey, as this phenomenon – wherein an individual substitutes one addiction for another – may subtly manifest, necessitating a nuanced and thorough approach to ongoing care and support. Knowledge and vigilance regarding transfer addiction further enrich the supportive tapestry, aiding in identifying and addressing any emergent addictive behaviors distinct from the initial addiction being treated.
Even after achieving sobriety, challenges and unexpected life events will occur. What will guide you in maintaining the right track in sobriety and overcoming potential triggers and challenges is having a support network you can lean on, who will help you stay focused on your overarching goals of sobriety. An addiction treatment center serves as an invaluable stepping stone in establishing new relationships with fellow peers who share the collective goal of achieving sobriety and forging a healthy, happy life in recovery.

While some withdrawal symptoms can be manageable and produce mild or moderate side effects, if you are someone that has engaged in alcohol use for a prolonged period of time or engage in binge drinking behaviors, there is a strong possibility that you may endure severe to life-threatening withdrawal symptoms. Alcohol withdrawal side effects may present in the following ways:

Alcohol Rehab for Residents of Tullahoma (What Is it and what is it like)
A common misconception in healing from alcohol addiction is that the only step you need to take is to simply stop drinking alcohol. While this is the necessary first step in recovering from alcohol addiction, the crucial component of alcohol rehab is gaining an understanding of the root causes of your addiction. Addiction often progresses over time and at the core of addiction are unresolved emotions or traumas from your past that have impacted your ability to remain sober. Inpatient alcohol rehab will provide you with the opportunity to engage in individual and group therapy where our counselors will help you dig deep into the emotions, thoughts, and actions that have been contributing to your addictive behaviors. How Much Does Rehab Cost?
When you are ready to take the necessary steps to achieve sobriety and enter into an addiction treatment center, Resurgence provides patients with options that will meet their current circumstances and needs. We recognize that each patient’s financial situation is different and the thought of how much rehab will cost often produces feelings of anxiety and reservation. Your decision to get the help you need should be met with support and our team at Resurgence will take the time to get to know any financial constraints you may have and develop a rehab plan along with various payment options that will be sure to fit within your budget and financial means.
How Long Is Detox?
The length of time that you will be in detox is dependent on a number of variables. Each individual will have their own unique detox journey and the team at Resurgence will be by your side throughout your whole detox program. The length of time that you experience withdrawal symptoms in your detox is dependent on how long you have been engaging in alcohol or drug use, the quantity of alcohol or drugs that you used at one given time, and how often you partake in substance use. If you have been using substances for a prolonged period of time, your detox time will most likely be longer than someone who just recently began their alcohol or drug use. Typically, we will see patients in a detox program for approximately 5-7 days, but, those who have been engaging in heavier drinking or drug use have the potential of experiencing withdrawal symptoms for up to 7-10 days. Patients will often feel the onset of withdrawal symptoms within 8 hours of their last drink or drug. From there, patients will feel the peak of their withdrawal symptoms between days 2-5. As you experience withdrawal symptoms, our team of nurses and physicians will monitor your symptoms and provide you with treatment that will keep you feeling comfortable and safe. Your safety is our number one concern while you are with us and our team works hard each day to ensure that your needs are being met and that your detox journey is successful and relaxing.
How Long Is Rehab?
Resurgence values the innate differences between each patient and the need for individualized care. The length of time for your rehab stay will depend on your preference and healing needs. Some patients that have been engaging in substance use for a longer period of time may require an extended time in rehab to provide themselves enough time to engage in therapeutic sessions. Healing from past emotions and traumas takes time and you want to ensure that you are giving yourself the time you need to effectively address and process what has been at the core of your addiction all along. We offer patients options to stay for 30, 60, or 90 days. We also recognize that when you are first embarking on your healing process it may be hard to determine how long you will need to engage in addiction treatment. If you decide you need long after you begin your rehab program, you are welcome to increase your stay by 30-day increments for a stay up to 90 days.
30 Day (short term rehab)
Tullahoma residents that are determined to put the work in with their therapy sessions and are dedicated to staying for a short-term stay while getting optimal healing will choose a 30-day rehab program. We understand that some Tullahoma patients have busy lives that cannot be put on hold for an extended period of time. 30 days provide patients with enough time to develop a new routine of health and sobriety while gaining new life skills and tools for relapse prevention and healthy sober living. Should you require more time at the end of your 30 days, you are welcome to extend your stay to 60 or 90 days.
Long Term Rehab (60-90 Days)
Tullahoma residents that are living with addiction often have many layers that have contributed to your addiction. In order to effectively address the root causes of your addiction, it requires time and dedication to therapeutic processes. A 60 or 90-day program will give you ample time to heal from your past and create new coping skills for the future that will keep you on the right track to remain sober. The longer you stay within rehab, the more you will have access to additional methods of treatment including trauma therapy and dual diagnosis treatment.
Couples Rehab
When you and your loved one are experiencing an addiction together, it creates a shift and strain on your once loving, supportive relationship. Couples find that communication between each other becomes affected and the level of care and trust becomes undeniably strained between both parties. Resurgence encourages couples to attend our addiction treatment center for individual and couples addiction therapy. While addiction is a personal disease that affects each individual differently it is important for couples to look at their own personal motives for engaging in addictive behaviors and then look at how addiction has impacted their relationship. Our counselors will work with you to redefine what your relationship means to both individuals and develop a sense of purpose within your relationship again.
