You will be invited to participate in life skills and relapse prevention programs that will set you up with the emotional awareness and intelligence to work through triggering situations while maintaining your sobriety at the forefront of your mind.

Alcohol Detox Program

Alcohol is a highly addictive substance and when used consistently or in large quantities will lead to a physical dependence. As your body becomes dependent, the level of withdrawal symptoms can worsen the longer you consume alcohol or increase the amount you drink. It is not recommended to detox on your own from alcohol due to the severity of symptoms that can occur.

A medically supervised detox program ensures that you taper off alcohol safely while under the watchful eye of nurses and physicians. As you experience withdrawal symptoms, depending on the intensity of symptoms, you may be offered medical treatment that will reduce your level of severity in symptoms. Once you are feeling better physically, you will have the capacity to begin to look at the emotional and social ties you have to alcohol use.

Insurance

Understanding insurance coverage can often be a daunting task for individuals seeking addiction treatment. One common question many patients and their families ask is: does Anthem cover therapy? Anthem, like many major insurance providers, often provides coverage for a range of therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities, depending on the specifics of the plan. It’s essential to review your policy or reach out to Anthem directly to determine the extent of coverage for rehab and therapy sessions. Ensuring you are well-informed about your insurance benefits can make the journey to recovery smoother and more financially manageable.

Drug Detox Program

Most illicit and prescription drugs have highly addictive components that have adverse withdrawal symptoms. The chemical components that make up illicit and prescription drugs cause physical dependence in the user making it difficult to detox on your own due to the range of withdrawal symptoms with some side effects having the potential of being dangerous.

Our medical team strongly encourages you to attend a medically supervised detox program. Our nurses and physicians are experts in helping you detox from drugs safely while managing your withdrawal symptoms to keep you comfortable and relaxed. As you taper off of drugs, your body may experience unpleasant side effects due to the physical dependence, in order to mitigate your symptoms you may be provided with medications and holistic measures of treatment to keep your symptoms at bay. Our medical team will be monitoring you each day and making adjustments to your detox plan as your body releases the toxins from your body and symptoms lessen over the detox period.

Alcohol Rehab for Residents of Alamo Heights (What Is it and what is it like)

Alcohol addiction is the most common substance that Americans enter into rehab for. With its socially acceptable consumption and easy access with liquor stores on almost every corner, it can be hard to leave your life of alcoholism behind without developing new, healthier habits while in a controlled setting. Learning to listen to your needs emotionally and physically is a new skill for many. Through our inpatient program, you will incorporate self care strategies such as exercise, proper sleep patterns and a healthy, balanced diet that will have you feeling renewed each day you wake up.

Alcohol rehab gives you the ability to step outside of your daily routine and environment and enter into a safe, structured place. In order to create new healthy habits that support your life in recovery, it is important to understand the behaviors and emotions that have impacted your addiction. Through our comprehensive training methods, you will gain awareness of what has been fuelling your addiction through individual and group therapy sessions.

How Much Does Rehab Cost?

Resurgence values your unique circumstances and will work to create an individualized treatment plan for you. We believe in empowering residents of Alamo Heights in their journey to get sober- not put limitations such as financial constraints on your ability to attend treatment.

Through your admission process, we get to know your individual circumstances to build a customized treatment plan along with an affordable option for you to get the therapeutic support you are looking for to eliminate alcohol and drugs from your life. We offer our patients affordable payment options that are sure to fit into your budget.

How Long Is Detox?

Just like your addiction is unique to you, your detox program will reflect the same. Detox looks different for each person depending on the substance use you engage in, the length of time you have been using or drinking, frequency you consume illicit substances

How Long Is Rehab?

Your addiction is unique to you and your lifestyle. There is no set time for everyone that attends as your rehab stay needs to meet your individual needs. We do ask our patients to stay for a minimum of 30 days, however, your time can be extended to a 60 or 90 day stay. Once you finish your inpatient program or if you are unable to attend an inpatient program, you have the option of attending an outpatient rehab program.

30 Day (short term rehab)

A 30 day rehab stay is an ideal length of time to be in rehab as it takes 28 days to make a change. Giving yourself 30 days will allow you to get settled in your new surroudings, build relationships with your peers and counselors, and fully engage in the therapeutic process.

Long Term Rehab (60-90 Days)

An extended period of time in rehab will allow you the time and space you need to engage in various therapeutic modalities to address your underlying causes of your addiction. If you are someone who needs support with a corresponding mental health concern, a dual diagnosis treatment plan will be best suited for a longer stay in rehab. Giving yourself ample time to identify problematic triggers while learning new coping strategies takes time to create.

Couples Rehab

When two people who care for one another deeply end up falling into addiction with each other, it can create discord and distance within the relationship. At a time where you need the support of each other the most, the relationship’s focus shifts to solely paying attention to your addiction and searching for your next high or drink.

Taking the time to participate in rehab together is an intervention that will save your life and your relationship. You will have the space to engage in individual therapy to look at how addiction has impacted your own life. Together, you will be invited to partake in couples therapy where you both can identify how your codependent relationship has impacted your ability to communicate, show affection towards one another, and your ability to have fun in the relationship together. Through our extensive treatment methods, you will learn through hands-on experience ways to enjoy each other’s company while maintaining your sobriety.

Pet Friendly Rehab

The companionship and comfort pets bring us is insurmountable. At the end of a long day, nothing provides you more comfort than the joy of your furry friend greeting you back home. You don’t see them as just a pet, they are a member of your family. Residents of Alamo Heights are welcome to bring their pets with them when they enter rehab (some exceptions may apply). Before you come, speak with one of our friendly staff members about your furry loved one to confirm that they will be joining you during your stay with us.

Does My Insurance Have Coverage For Rehab?

If you have insurance and want to find out if you have the coverage to enter rehab, contact our insurance specialists who collect the necessary information from you about your insurance plan. From there, it will be determined if you are covered and what kind of plan or payment option you can be offered.

Resurgence covers most PPO insurance plans. We provide our patients with options for private payment if that suits you better. When you contact us, fill out the insurance verification form to help us get started in looking at your options for coverage so you can get started on your road to recovery.
