Outpatient Drug Rehab Henderson
Top Rated Outpatient Drug Rehab Center in Henderson
Resurgence Behavioral Health rehab center is the top-rated drug rehab center in Henderson because of the integrated continuum of care that we offer that not only includes several types of outpatient rehab options with behavioral therapy, trauma-informed health care and evidence-based treatments, but also a safe and effective medical detox treatment (MAT) plan, as well as short-term and long-term inpatient residential rehab programs.
Every person’s needs are unique when they come to rehab, and because we have so many customizable care options to choose from, we are more likely to be able to meet you where you are in your recovery and give you the right level of care that you need now.
Our outpatient rehab programs are flexible and tailored to you, so that you can enter our partial hospitalization program (day programs), our intensive outpatient program (IOP), and know that there will always be somebody there in our treatment centers for you as you reintegrate yourself back into your everyday life as a sober individual for as long as you need it. Our aftercare programs can last as long as you want, with continued access to medical care, therapy, groups, and other support like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). You will always have somewhere to turn at the drug detox facility Costa Mesa.
Drug Rehab That Allows You to Still Go to Work & School. (Can I go to Work and School During Rehab?)
You can continue going to work and school while you are in rehab for substance abuse. It is not always possible to leave your family, work, and other responsibilities for 30 to 90 days to live full-time inside an inpatient rehab program for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. Some people may be unable to leave behind their children or other dependents, some people are students who would put their financial aid and scholarships at risk, while others would lose their careers. Inpatient rehab may also be too intensive for people with a mild form of addiction.
For this reason, at Resurgence, we have flexible levels of outpatient rehab that can be molded to best suit each person’s individual needs as you move through the addiction treatment process, living outside of the rehab facility and living your life, with therapy, doctor’s visits and other treatments scheduled around your work, school, and other responsibilities.
If you don’t know what type of rehab you want, that’s okay. At Resurgence alcohol and drug rehab center, we provide full medical and psychological screenings before planning your program with you. That way, we can recommend what we think will work best for you as an individual. Not everybody goes through the same steps on the same timeline. All outpatient programs are individualized.
Benefits of Outpatient Drug Rehab
Because substance use disorders are chronic conditions, recovery is a process, not a destination. Alcohol and drug outpatient rehab programs and recovery centers provide a reliable place to turn when things are difficult. Some other benefits of an outpatient drug rehab program include:
- The option to live with your loved ones, family, or friends as you recover
- Flexible scheduling so you don’t need to abandon your life to get the help you need
- Lasting access to a strong sober community of peers and professionals who you can turn to during difficult times
- Connections to trusted sober living homes where you can stay short- or long-term as you rehabilitate
- The freedom to choose the intensity of your program, and move within the levels of care depending on your needs as time goes on
- Relief for your family, as they are likely not fully able to provide all the care and support you need all the time
- Never feel alone in your drug addiction recovery, remaining in our alumni group even years after rehab is over
What To Expect During Outpatient Rehab
The first steps to entering an outpatient rehab include your initial assessment, interviews and screenings from doctors, psychiatrists, and addictions specialists, and a full inpatient medical detox program that integrates therapy, medications, 24-hour medical care and comfort into one safe and effective treatment plan.
Once you complete your detox and are deemed stable enough to move into outpatient treatment, you will move back home or into a sober living residence and start coming in for your treatments at pre-scheduled times during the morning, evening, or afternoon.
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
In the PHP, you will live at home or in a sober living residence outside of the treatment facility, coming in 5 to 7 days a week for full days (6 or more hours a day). Patients treat the PHP as their full-time job and receive a similar treatment plan to the programming that somebody in inpatient care would have, like individual therapy, group therapy, life-skills coaching, dual diagnosis for persons with co-occurring mental health issues, and medical care if needed, with strong support from staff at all times.
As this is a short-term, intensive program usually used for people leaving inpatient detox and/or inpatient rehab, patients will treat the PHP as their full-time job, gaining confidence in their sobriety as they slowly transition back into their regular life as a person in active recovery.
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
In the IOP at Resurgence Behavioral Health, you will live at home or in a sober living home, keeping a normal daily routine that will include working, family care, classes, or whatever else you would normally do in a day, with outpatient rehab occurring around your schedule, usually in 3-hour blocks of time. This way, you can get individual and group therapy, peer support, medical and psychiatric care, counseling, and other addiction treatment therapies without disrupting your life.
Programming in an IOP happens in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and you can work with our team to create a schedule that will not interfere with your livelihood and obligations. The IOP is a good way to get the help you need, practice newly learned recovery skills in real life scenarios, and receive strong support every step of the way.
Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (VIOP)
Some of the Resurgence locations offer a virtual version of the IOP recovery resources, which is an especially useful option for people who were involved in a Resurgence inpatient drug rehab program and want to continue with the same therapists but live out of town. In the VIOP, continued care, meetings, and therapy appointments are all done over the internet, via a secure telehealth platform.
Inpatient Rehab
In inpatient drug and alcohol rehab, you will move into the addiction treatment recovery center full-time, living in residence alongside like-minded peers in a safe, sober, and welcoming environment, with full days of treatment, programming, health care, exercise and nutrition programs, educational programming, and free time to spend playing games, relaxing, or reflecting.
There are some reasons why an inpatient rehab program may be better suited to some people, including:
- Feeling overwhelmed at the thought of going back to your everyday life after detoxing
- Wanting to spend some time in a 100% safe and sober place with none of your usual temptations and triggers present, where you can learn new habits and healthy behaviors in a structured routine
- Continuing to experience cravings or withdrawal symptoms
- Needing a strong support system that is not available to you at home
- Needing extra help managing psychiatric, mental health, or behavioral conditions
- Being on new medications
- Having a high risk of relapsing or if you have tried an outpatient treatment program and relapsed
If you have a stable, sober-friendly place to live, have a strong motivation in your recovery, can control your cravings, and do not have a high risk of relapsing or need physical/mental health monitoring 24 hours a day, you may be ready for outpatient rehab for treating drug or alcohol addiction.
How Long Does Outpatient Rehab Henderson Last with Resurgence?
It is not possible to give an exact timeline for how long outpatient rehab takes, because every person is different, and we customize each person’s program to their unique needs. For example, if you are recovering from cocaine addiction, you may require longer-term mental health support through peer groups and individual counseling, for months or even years, and if you are recovering from alcohol use disorder, you likely will need longer-term physical health care with meetings to help with the constant social pressure to drink.
Somebody with a co-occurring mental health issue like anxiety disorder, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or post-traumatic stress disorder may want to spend some time in inpatient treatment, then move into a partial hospitalization program at the treatment facility before beginning their IOP for a gradual shift back to their regular life.
It also depends on your living situation, whether or not you have support and care from family and loved ones, and what is going on in your life. There is not one path to recovery. We encourage each of our drug and alcohol treatment patients to stay as long as they like in each stage of their care, with the option to step-up the intensity or otherwise alter their plans as time goes on and needs change. There are always options to join 12-step or SMART recovery meetings and our alumni group is also there for sober friendship and peer support from somebody who understands what you are going through.
