Addiction Treatment that
Just Works
Individualized treatment programs delivered in a comfortable, relaxed setting promote healing in your recovery journey.
If you or a loved one is displaying some or all of these signs of addiction, it may be time for professional intervention.
Resurgence is one of the best drug rehabs in the nation. With our comprehensive treatment options, we will be able to create a rehab program that will work for anybody who needs help for as long as you need it. We offer:
Medical Detox programs – Detoxing can be scary, uncomfortable, and even dangerous to do without professional support, so we offer a medical detox program that can offer medications to keep you safe, remove drug cravings, and keep you comfortable as you move through this necessary but difficult part of your rehab program.
Dual diagnosis treatments – Anybody with co-occurring mental health issues will be provided with the option of a dual diagnosis treatment. This will take care of the addiction and mental health issues together, which is beneficial as they usually stem from the same underlying cause and affect one another negatively.
Integrated treatments – During rehab we will provide an integrated array of treatments to treat you as a whole person, not just an addict who needs to stop using drugs. We know that you are a person with emotions, intelligence, and a unique personality, who is capable of change, and needs support and help to do so. We offer many different behavioral, group, and individual therapy options, life skills programs, and vocational coaching, as well as physical health and nutritional counseling and group activities for community building. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new friends and become the person you want to be.
Customized programs – Because everybody is an individual person with their own personality, needs, budget, and goals, we know that rehab cannot be a one-size-fits-all scenario. We will get to know about you during your intake interview, measure your level of addiction, and then work with you to create a program that you will enjoy, as much as it will benefit your health spiritually, mentally, and physically.
Continuum of care – we provide the full spectrum of rehab options that run from our detox program, through inpatient rehab, and into outpatient treatments and aftercare programs. We will never put an end date on your treatment, as we know that recovery is a lifelong process that requires consistent support from a sober network of peers and professionals.
Alumni support – Our alumni network is far-reaching and broad and is available to anybody who has completed a rehab program with us. This group of people knows exactly what you are going through and can offer friendship, mentorship, and support when you need it most, from a place of understanding.
Sober living home referrals – Because not everybody has a supportive, stable place to live after rehab, a sober living home, also known as a halfway house, is an option. You can move into one of these homes while you return to your everyday responsibilities, and be held accountable, with no drugs or alcohol in the house, as you begin to implement the sober living strategies you learned in rehab with strong support.

Inpatient Drug Rehab
When you are with Resurgence in inpatient care, you will live in our drug rehab facility for a recommended minimum of 30 days. You will be provided with all the amenities you need to have a peaceful and relaxing stay with us, including a full-sized bed with a TV in your room, access to exercise equipment, an in-house chef who can accommodate dietary needs, and our games and movie nights and other community-based activities. You will also have plenty of time to relax and rest on your own if you wish. Each day will be structured, with full days of therapy, groups, educational seminars, doctors’ check-ins, and another programming, that will be customized to best work for you. We will keep you safe, with 24 hours of support from our caring and professional staff members.
Outpatient Drug Rehab
Resurgence offers a spectrum of outpatient programs for those who would like continued support and guidance from our trained and caring staff, such as:
- Partial Hospitalization Program, where people transitioning from inpatient rehab can still receive strong support, therapy, and guidance from staff while using their recovery skills in the real world.
- Intensive Outpatient Program, a step down from the partial hospitalization program, where you can maintain a normal daily life while continuing to work on sobriety with a group and individual therapy.
These programs are for anybody who has completed detox and wants to return to their lives with continued, sustained support from peers and our professional team. The IOP is especially flexible, with the option to taper down the intensity and frequency of visits over time as you adjust to sober life outside of rehab.
Flexible Drug Rehab While Working
At Resurgence, we know that everybody has different priorities and responsibilities in their lives, and many people cannot leave home or their job for a long period of time. That is why our IOP program is flexible enough that you can return to working full- or part-time, go back to school, take care of your family, or any other responsibilities you may have. Your therapy, group sessions, and appointments can be scheduled to work around your life so you can do it all.
MAT Drug Rehab
When you use drugs for a significant amount of time, your body becomes dependent on them to be able to function properly. Your brain’s reward system is changed chemically, and when you stop using the substances your body needs an adjustment period to re-balance itself. During this period you will experience withdrawal symptoms, and your symptoms may vary depending on factors like:
- Which drugs you were using
- How long you were using drugs
- How frequently you were using drugs
- The number of drugs you were using at one time
- Whether you were mixing more than one drug (including alcohol)
- The method of drug use (snorting, smoking, oral ingestion, injection)
- Your physical and mental health when you begin detoxing
A medically assisted treatment program for detoxing is the safest method of quitting drug use without putting yourself in danger of having to go through a very difficult and painful period. MAT is important for two main reasons:
If you try to detox from drugs without assistance it will be extremely unpleasant, which can be traumatic and even cause you to immediately relapse to stop the withdrawal symptoms, starting the cycle of abuse over again.
If you are not under medical supervision while detoxing, your withdrawal symptoms may become dangerous to your health, or even fatal in some cases.
Medical detox at Resurgence is a multifaceted approach to drug addiction treatment. We will provide you with specific, FDA-approved medications that are targeted to help relieve your withdrawal symptoms without creating a new addiction. They can help with issues like intense drug cravings, restlessness, pain, and anxiety, so you can be as comfortable as possible as you detox.
During medical detox you will stay inside our facility full-time, so we can monitor your progress and keep you safe. We have medical professionals on staff 24 hours a day, so if your symptoms worsen we will be able to take care of it for you.
Our team will ensure you have access to counseling, healthy food, and nutritional therapy, as well as keeping you hydrated. We want your body, mind, and spirit to rest and stay healthy during this difficult time. We also begin dual diagnosis treatment at this time if it has been deemed necessary.
With the combination of treatments at Resurgence, you will be ready to move on to the next phase of treatment in no time.

Dual Diagnosis Drug Rehab for Phoenix Residents
Dual diagnosis is the combination of physical addiction treatments along with help for mental health issues like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, personality and mood disorders, and more. When a person is addicted to drugs, they can trigger latent mental health issues, and conversely, when a person has mental health issues, they may begin using drugs to try and self-medicate for the symptoms, ultimately becoming addicted.
Whatever the cause, the effect is that you have two intertwined issues that need to be worked on at the same time, in the same place, by the same treatment providers, to be able to move on as a healthy individual. At Resurgence we can provide dual diagnosis treatment throughout your stay with us, beginning at detox, and offering mental health services for a lifetime.
Methamphetamine Rehab
Rehab for methamphetamine takes a higher amount of care than some other drugs, as it is an intense substance that can quickly become addictive. When you detox from meth, the ‘crash’ you experience can last for a few days to several weeks. A medical detox program is recommended, and then a minimum of 30 days are spent in inpatient rehab, followed by outpatient care.
Opioid Rehab
Opioid drugs come in many different packages. Many of them are prescribed to patients by doctors for treating pain-related issues. As you stop taking opiates you will require a medical detox to handle your withdrawal symptoms safely. Opiates are a difficult drug to quit, as these symptoms may occur for weeks to months after detox and rehab are over, so an extended outpatient program is recommended after inpatient rehab to help reduce the chances of a relapse occurring.

Heroin Rehab for Phoenix Residents
Heroin is a street drug that is an opioid that produces a strong, euphoric effect. It is highly addictive and requires extra time and patience through detox and rehab due to the high likelihood of relapse in heroin users. Like other opiates, an extended outpatient rehab program is recommended, so you can remain in contact with your supportive peers and professional caregivers as long as possible.
Whichever drug it is you are trying to quit, at Resurgence Behavioral Health we can make your wish a reality. For more information on detox, drug rehab, or alcohol rehab, or if you are ready to get help, contact us today. We can walk you through the next steps you will need to take.
